I need to get this off my chest, so this is why I write this particular post. I have been single for almost 4 years and not been seeing anyone. Recently after one of few big moments in my life which happened a few months ago, I dreamt about someone.
Rarely does this happen to me. Woke up feeling like he is mine or more like we are together in the dream. Professionally, I would not act out or make any move on him but now everytime I see him, I feel that “I really adore you” feeling. Big realization, I have a crush.

How do you know if you have a crush? Here are a few ways to know and clues that you have a crush. Another reason is because after speaking to a few people in my life, it seems like I am not alone! Phew.
ADMIRATION
I won’t be able to talk about his background here because of who he is. He is successful professionally and he has reached great heights in his career. Make it more attractive, he loves challengers and does it well.
ADORE
My personal opinion of adoring someone is way different from being in love with someone. Heart rate goes up when you look at him or he looks at you. Few times I was nervous and could not look into his eyes or respond to his questions. All I did was “hmmm” and took a deep breath in front of him. Everything he does, he makes me smile even when he is not in a good mood.
SAFE
For whatever reason when he spoke to me, I felt safe. Like he is not going to make me feel I need to be someone else and it’s safe to be who I am. Not everything can be written but my gut feeling, I can relax and be myself.
When something exciting is happening, you want to tell him.
This is big for me. I rarely want to share anything with any guy. I would share with my bestfriend whom I known for more than 10years.
KNOWING – GUT OR INTUITION
There are something we can’t explain in words. Not every emotions or feeling can be spelled out in any language. Somehow I have this knowing feeling about him. Knowing that it is safe and okay to have a crush on him.
